As details trickle out, it’s looking like his roots may have had something to do with his breakdown. It’s hard to wrap my head around being an Arab American getting ready to head to the Iraq. Regardless, in this situation the first thing I thought of was Colin Powell’s stirring endorsement of Obama on Meet the Press. Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? Of course not. Is there something wrong with killing a bunch of people? Of course.
