McCain’s Spiritual Guide Pastor Rod Parsley says America’s historical mandate from God is to destroy Islam. Sound like bad news for McCain? Far from it.
Aside from all the other reasons stated by Mr. Douglas, I don’t think that the Obama campaign or anyone on the left should come close to trying to exploit Parsley or Hagee or any of McCain’s religious nut fuck friends. The right would love this election to come down to a battle of crazies. Why? Because who do you think will win in a fight? The weird looking black guy in the funny cape yelling “God Damn America!” or the clean cut white guy in the suit yelling “Islams are Devils!” The more anyone in the media tries to talk about McCain’s spirit friends, the more they also have to talk about Obama’s — in the interest of fairness and balancedness. While McCain’s may be balls out offensive, they’re still fiercely pro-America. Obama’s aren’t. Basically, there are millions of better ways to fuck McCain than with Parsley. In reality, he’d love to get fucked with Parsley.
